Cocktail Holiday Party

Cocktail Holiday Party

Only a few more days until Christmas but that doesn’t stop the Holiday parties! See what to wear to a more formal event outside of the workplace.

Happy Friday! Finally! We are two days really out from Christmas and as we speak… well type, I’m staring at my Mom washing greens as we get ready for meals on meals on meals! It’s been an eventful, to say the least, 2016 and I’m ready for 2017 for sure but now without celebrating a little more! You know here at CCC, we’re focused on nailing our work place outfits but, what happens when there’s a work function, outside of work? For all those cocktail parties with your co-workers or maybe just a more formal holiday party, here’s a classy look for you with a bit of flare!

First, my coat was a gift from my mother last christmas and I absolutely adore it! The fur on the neckline and the angled zipper are definitely conversation points whenever someone asks. It’s extremely warm and perfect for a more dressy holiday look.

Now, for the details on this dress! Akira Chicago is always my first stop shop for any dress. In this case, I was looking for a simple, yet elegant dress to wear for more formal holiday occasions. See below!

I wore this dress for my birthday dinner as well but even then I was getting compliments from everyone! Somewhere between the soft mauve color and the velvet, I knew it was going to be a killer look!

I never thought I was one for off the shoulder dresses or the wrap style but after trying this one on, it was a match made in heaven! I was deciding between the green or this one and I thought this would be a better fit as I didn’t quite want to blend in with the tree.

I paired this one with my gorgeous t-strap heels from Target (Sam & Libby) which are a must for any holiday outfit.

Plans for anyone to dress up this season! What are you wearing on your night outs? Leave a comment below!
