#WEare1

From the beginning it was important for Women Exceeding to be established during Women’s History Month. Women Exceeding became recognized as a Non-Profit Organization on March 12th, 2014. Providing resources to assist students and young professionals reach their full potential is a goal of Women Exceeding. We are developing new resources to help women who are looking to for guidance and development. We hope to be a resource for women from all backgrounds. We represent the millennials today and we hope to define the opportunities of tomorrow. Looking for an internship but don’t know where to start? Working your first job post grad and need some ideas to advance? Traditional education is not for you and you need help finding your craft? We are here to answer those tough questions and help you navigate through your career! Women throughout history have helped navigate other women in their careers. Our own WE staff have developed relationships with successful women. These women have played a vital role in molding and preparing us for the careers that we have. This March, we hope to highlight various prominent women and share tidbits of their stories.  Please stay engaged all month long as we unleash new features to our site and several changes that have taken place with our growth!

Sincerely,

Women Exceeding Team

New Year, New Model

Women Exceeding would like your input on our website content. In order to achieve this, we have changed our model. Every week WE will post a “Woman Crush Wednesday”. Each month you will vote on your favorite #WCW for the month. At the end of the quarter, you will vote on the top ranked ladies from the previous months and she will be our Quarterly Feature!

You can also engage with Women Exceeding in other ways. Here on our website you can check out our WE DirectoryWE Events calendar, or our WE Booklist. You can also view our features from 2014. Nominate a woman that you admire and she could become a #WCW and possibly a feature.
