Women of Black History: Michelle Obama

Michelle Obama is wife of former President Barack Obama. Prior to being the U.S. First Lady, she was a lawyer, Chicago city administrator, and a community-outreach worker. The Princeton University and Harvard University graduate focused her attention on social issues such as poverty, healthy living and education during her time as First Lady.
